Workshops

As of 2025, all workshops will be held at my cabin & shop in Big Bear, California. Inspired to share techniques & knowledge passed down over hundreds of years.  Courses cover traditional hand tool and green woodworking.  Splitting logs, & riving out parts while the wood still contains a considerable moisture content. Kiln drying parts to be joined. Steam bending back crests. Carving seats using hand tools. Assembling & joining using traditional methods. The price of the course includes all materials and tools required. All participants will leave with a completed chair, or other project, to enjoy for a lifetime. 

*Please note, the price you pay at checkout is 25% of the final cost, to reserve your spot. The balance is to be paid in full by the last day of the course. 

*The price of the course includes accommodations in our cabin for the duration of the class. If you have questions, please email me. If you would like to find your own accommodations, the price will be adjusted.
